Raw Amino bioregulators: 17 Khavinson peptides explained

A guide to Raw Amino bioregulators: the 17 Khavinson peptides we stock, the tissue each one is linked to and what the research shows.

What Raw Amino bioregulators are

Raw Amino bioregulators are short peptides, two to four amino acids long, from the program Vladimir Khavinson led at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. Each one is linked by its developers to a single tissue. We stock 17 of them on the bioregulator peptides page.

Raw Amino bioregulators by tissue

Epithalon 25mg and Thymalin 25mg are the best-known members of the family; the rest come in 20mg vials.

How bioregulators are thought to work

Khavinson’s group proposes that these tiny peptides enter cells and bind DNA or histone proteins, switching particular genes on or off in a specific tissue. It’s an unusual idea, and it hasn’t been widely tested outside Russia.

What the research says

Most published work comes from Khavinson’s school, often in Russian journals: cell studies of gene expression and long-term studies in aging rodents. Independent replication is limited, so labs treat bioregulators as exploratory tools. The PubMed search for Khavinson peptides lists the work.

Choosing a bioregulator

Pick by the tissue in your model. Each product page gives the sequence and the tissue link. For aging work, start with Epithalon; for brain models, Pinealon.

Price, shipping and storage

Most bioregulators cost $60 for a 20mg vial. Shipping is free worldwide, and code firstrawamino$$ gives 10% off a first order. Concentration is the amount in the vial divided by the water you add. Use sterile bacteriostatic water, let it run slowly down the inside of the glass and swirl until the powder is gone; don’t shake it. Keep sealed vials frozen at -20°C, and once mixed, keep the vial in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and use it within about four weeks.

Epithalon, the best-known bioregulator

Epithalon, also spelled Epitalon, is the tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. Khavinson’s group reported that it switched on telomerase in human cell cultures and was linked to longer lifespan in some rodent studies. It’s the bioregulator researchers ask about most, and Raw Amino sells it in a 25mg vial for $109.

The smaller bioregulators

Some of the range is less well known. Chonluten (Glu-Asp-Gly) is linked to bronchial tissue, Ovagen (Glu-Asp-Leu) to the liver, Vesilut (Glu-Asp) to the bladder, Vilon (Lys-Glu) to the thymus and Cortagen to the brain cortex. They’re cheap to add to a study, and each product page lists the sequence and what’s been published.
